Founder & Managing Director

Zoe Doherty MCIOF

Zoe started her fundraising career over 20 years ago working for a homeless project in Camden. In her first six months she secured a £50,000 grant from a charitable trust and she was hooked. From there she moved to the National Council for One Parent Families and expanded her fundraising knowledge to include corporates, major donors and events, including a successful donor event at 10 Downing Street.

Keen to expand her knowledge of commercial sectors early in her early career, Zoe moved to the corporate sector and became a publisher of financial b2b magazines. Here she managed sales teams, editorial content and marketing strategies. She gained experience in writing business plans, creating budgets for magazine portfolios worth millions and she acquired extensive marketing and sales knowledge.

After getting married and having children, Zoe went back to her fundraising roots working for a local hospital charity. She further developed her community, trust and corporate fundraising skills, managing a number of appeals including a children’s playroom project and a dementia campaign.

In 2015 Zoe founded Concise Fundraising and has since raised millions of pounds for various small to medium sized charities across East Anglia. Zoe specialises in trust and corporate partnerships and has found the experience of helping organisations become more successful extremely rewarding. Outside of work Zoe enjoys cooking with her children and has recently started running again with the goal of completing a half marathon next year.
