The Cambridge Acorn Project works with children and their families who have experienced trauma and are living in poverty.
We were approached by the COO of the organisation to provide trust fundraising support. Initially, we spent time learning about their services and what they wanted to achieve in the next three years. Concise then researched the most appropriate trusts and reworked their case for support. We created a schedule for applications and worked with the client to submit funding bids.
Over the past few years we have supported the Cambridge Acorn Project to establish a number of new trust relationships, including the National Lottery Community Fund, which they will be able to build on for the future.
It has been a privilege to work with this important and innovative charity. The work they do with children and their families makes an enormous difference. They help children to develop better relationships with their families, enabling them to have happier, healthier childhoods.
